We have had a lot of enquires with reference to Halogen Free Fuels. It appears that some chimney liner and multi fuel stove manufactures are making it a condition of their warranty/guarantee that only Halogen Free Fuel should be burnt.

The problem we have found is that Halogens are a naturally occurring element that exist in the environment and pretty much everything contains halogens to some extent.

All of the fuels we sell are approved by HEATAS and are therefore safe to use on HEATAS approved appliances.

Starting in 1936, R.A. Blackford has been a family run business supplying coal and solid fuel to Uckfield and the local area.
